Sew Cherry is now arriving in Quilt Shops!...

Guess what?....the time is finally here and Sew Cherry is starting to show up at your local quilt shops!

Yesterday I snapped these pictures at
Material Girls in South Jordan.
What a thrill it was to see Sew Cherry for the very first time...all lined up amongst the other bolts of colorful fabric!
Nadine quickly cut Fat Quarters:)
Besides yardage...Sew Cherry is also available in precuts.
This is a Sew Cherry "Rolie Polie"....2 1/2" strips of all 27 fabrics in the line.
And here are the "10 inch Stackers" ......and also "5 inch Stackers".....
And of course it's also available in a "Fat Quarter Bundle"...
The warehouse is in the process of shipping Sew Cherry to quilt shops now.
And did you see my new Sew Cherry button here on the top right?
You can click on it to see the whole line and also I have added some online shops where you can order some of your own to play with!

So sorry for the non-exsistent posting girls!....I havn't forgotten about you.
I am just counting every minute towards getting patterns and samples ready for Spring Market.
The days are soon coming when I can reveal all and I just can't wait!
Until then....have a quilty time!!!

I Heart Pom-Pom Trim!...

Especially this jumbo size...

Isn't it sew fun!

It's part of the brand new sewing notions line by Riley Blake called Sew Together.

I've been having fun using "Sew Together" products as I'm designing new patterns and samples with my Sew Cherry fabric line...

I'm using the pom-pom's for 3 projects using these Sew Cherry Stripes...Sew Cherry Dots and Sew Cherry Ginghams...

And also these...

And these too.
I am really loving the way they turned out and I hope you do too when I'm finally able to show you:)
In the meantime girls...I'm still as busy as a bee in my studio preparing for Spring Market and I have pretty much used up all of the precuts and 5 yard cuts that were sent to me last month to design with.
Needless to say...I am now waiting impatiently for my bolts to arrive so that I have plenty to work with!

A few weeks ago Kassidy took this picture of me doing some applique.
She was trying to get my attention...lol...not an easy thing to do when I'm working.
I tend to live in my own little world when I'm in the middle of a project...or two...or 50!..haha...don't you?

Have a great Monday girls...and I'd love to know what you are up to!

Denyse Schmidt Fabric at JoAnns!...

Over the weekend Kass and I made a quick trip to JoAnn's Fabrics.

While we were there...guess what I spied sitting so quietly on a shelf?

Yep....you guessed it!

17 bolts of Denyse Schmidt fabric!

I couldn't believe my luck! You all know how hard it is to find her fabric:)

Apparently she has a brand new line that she has designed for JoAnns.

I would describe it as a cross between Flea Market Fancy and Katie Jump Rope...very cool and very vintage.

I picked up a piece of each but there are probably more bolts that will trickle in I assume.

We also looked through the pattern books as we always do when we go there...and found this modern quilt pattern by Denyse that Kassidy wants to make for her bed.
I waited until this morning to go pick it up because it was on sale for 99 cents today.

So just a heads up for you girls...if you are a Denyse Schmidt fan like I am...you better plan a trip to JoAnns A.S.A.P!...(and don't forget your coupons)

Thanks for visiting me and I hope you all have a quilty kind of day today:)

P.S. The quality of the fabric line is excellent...it's in the "fine fabrics section"...and retails for 9.99 per yard.

Yo-Yo MaMa's Block Exchange...

I've mentioned before that our Yo-Yo MaMa's club is having a 1930's block exchange this year.

And I also wanted to show you this fabulous 1930's 9 patch that my friend Betty made and brought for show and tell at last months meeting.

I love everything about it!...and I thought you might like to see it too.

She made it using the 2 1/2 inch squares that we all exchanged last year.

I don't know if you remember the quilt that I made out of my squares but you can read about it here.

Okay...here's a peek at the exchange blocks from last month...

It's almost time for this months meeting and I'll be sure to take pictures of more blocks to show you.
In the meantime...I'm still buried underneath piles of Sew Cherry...

I hope that you are all finding time to do your favorite things!
